Andy won Runner Up in the Reportage Weddings Category at the Professional Photographer of the Year Awards 2012 today. With over 6,000 entries worldwide Andy is delighted to win the title of runner up in this highly acclaimed competition. Andy is a multi award winning wedding photojournalist covering Jewish wedding photography, Greek wedding photography and documentary wedding throughout London, the South east, UK, & Europe.
The image which won Runner Up (below) is a Jewish Bride signing the register with the Groom in the background with the Rabbi. The groom lost his father some years before the wedding, then his mother passed away a few days prior to the ceremony. The image was titled ‘My Mother Didn’t Make It’.
