Bride & Groom come back for more!

On Friday 19th March 2010, Sabrina & Ian got back into their wedding gear for a portrait/wedding shoot at The Gardens of Great Easton Lodge. Essex wedding photographer Andy Griffin brought some interesting props along to add a new dimension to wedding photography. Watch this space for the results from the shoot which will be posted after the MPA Regional Awards in June this year.

Sabrina & Ian got maaried in September last year at Leez Priory, with Andy there capturing their special day. You can see some of their images on the website, they are the couple with the picture frame!

Wedding Open Day at Hedingham Castle

We will be exhibiting at the Hedingham Castle Open Day on Sunday 28th February. Come along to see some sample albums and discuss your wedding day in more detail. We will be there from 10am until 4pm with various Open Day offers for 2010/11 bookings.

Great Eastern Hotel shot wins Award

 

 

 

 

 

 

This shot of a bride running through The Great eastern Hotel, Liverpool Street London won a merit at the MPA Central Region Awards in January. Andy is a wedding & portrait photographer based in Essex and he won 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008 category in the Licentiate section. He also won a further 4 merits in the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008 (Licentiate) which meant he won ALL prizes in this category! Andy won 2nd place overall as Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008. In the portrait category, he won 4 merits in the Licentiate section. The above shot also won an Award of Excellence at the National Photographic Awards in Newcastle back in November 2008, and was a finalist in the Licentiate Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008.

This shot of Hannah & Adam at The Fennes Estate Essex won 2nd place at the MPA Central Region Awards in January. Mel & Andrew had a portrait session with their son Jamie in December at their home in London. Essex wedding & portrait photographer covered the couples wedding at The Landmark in 2007.

Louise & Mark celebrated their big day at St Bartholemew the Great Church, followed by a reception at the Butcher’s Hall. Despite the rain coming down for most of the day, the couple had a great time, with both venues providing excellent photographic opportunities. Andy, a wedding photographer based in Essex covered their day in a contmeporary reportage style.

Claire & Peter celebrated their wedding day at Hedingham Castle on October 25th October 2008.  Despite being an extremely cold day we managed to get around the grounds of the castle to get some contemporary wedding photography. Nojor & Tsola celebrated their big day in central London and at The Palm Hotel Hendon on 5th July 2008. The couple, who live in Australia, had a full Nigerian ceremony followed by the colourful reception at the Palm Hotel in Hendon. Tsola booked Andy from Sydney after viewing the galleries online and a couple of late night telephone calls. We still managed to do a pre shoot three days prior to the wedding. Adam & Shelley’s wedding took place at Great Forsters Surrey on 18th May 2008. The couple had a mixture of Civil Ceremony with a Jewish blessing.
