Wedding Open Day at Hedingham Castle

Winter Wedding at Leez Priory

Helen & Nick celebrated their wedding at Leez Priory today after months of hectic preparations. The couple had their wedding photographer Andy Griffin cover their day from the bridal preparations through to the first dance and evening entertainment. This shot of Amy & James at Offley Place Geat Offley won a merit in the Licentiate wedding category at the MPA Central Region Awards in January. Andy is a wedding & portrait photographer based in Essex and he won 1st, 2nd & 3rd place in the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008 category in the Licentiate section. He also won a further 4 merits in the Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008 (Licentiate) which meant he won ALL prizes in this category! Andy won 2nd place overall as Wedding Photographer of the Year 2008. In the portrait category, he won 4 merits in the Licentiate section.

Claire & Peter celebrated their wedding day at Hedingham Castle on October 25th October 2008. Despite being an extremely cold day we managed to get around the grounds of the castle to get some contemporary wedding photography. UK British Photography Awards 2008

Andy won more awards at the UK British Professional Photography Awards held in Newcastle on 19th October 2009. He received an Award of Excellence for the above image in the Dennis Hylander Wedding Category. He was also a finalist in the Licentiate wedding competition, and received a further three merits, one in the Contemporary Wedding category, and two in the Dennis Hylander Wedding category. Andy is an Essex wedding photographer based in Thaxted.
